Unlike other charity web portals and search engines, Isara.org creates its own charity projects through an international network of volunteers. Since 2005 Isara.org has created more than 60+ charity projects in the following areas.

Education
Isara.org is commited to providing children and adults with the best educational resources available to secure a better future for them and their dreams. Isara does this by providing scholarships to students who demonstrate a financial need and motivation to better themselves; by providing free evening classes in English and computer skills; and by providing volunteer teachers in remote areas.

Health and Safety
Isara.org has various missions involving health and safety. A helmet campaign has provided more than 2000 free helmets in Southeast Asia to promote safety to a population that primarily uses mopeds as the main source of transportation. Promoting good health is key to ensuring people can take care of themselves by suppling toiletries to refugees, sponsoring a soccer team as an outlet for physical fitness, and teaching English to hospital staff.

Environment
Whether global warming is reeking havoc on the Earth or not, is not our focus. Doing what we can to take care of our world is. Isara.org feels strongly that to take care of the world, we have to get out in the world - with trash bag in hand. Being frugal with resources and teaching others to do the same is another important mission of Isara. From water conservation, to caring for animals, we all play a part in how the Earth is affected and at Isara, we want that affect to be a positive one.

Technology
Isara utilizes the latest technology to benefit the less fortunate. Not only is Isara actively involved with teaching computers to children in developing areas, but we're also in the process of building the world's first non-profit search engine. When completed it will bring a much needed balance to the for-profit driven Internet we have today.
